Lee Johnson Biography and Discography:

Lee Johnson is an award winning singer/songwriter, musician/producer. Lee’s songs won 1st Place in June 2016 Akademia Music Awards for Best Country Rock Song, 1st Place in Richard Leigh Songwriter Fest May 2016, and 1st and 2nd Place in Durango Songwriters Expo “WWAHM” Feb 2014! Lee’s song “How We Roll” aired on ABC’s “Nashville” 12/4/13. Lee’s songs won 1st Place in “Show Me the Music” Nov 2013, 1st Place “Smokey Mnt Songwriter Fest” Aug 2013, 1st Place in SongU “Golden Ticket” May 2013, Broadjam’s Date with a Publisher April 2012, 1st Place “Hillbilly Culture” June 2012, 1st Place NSAI “Hitsville” April 2011 and 1st Place Durango Songwriters Expo “WWAHM” Feb 2010. These are different songs with different co writers.

Results have included song deals with Major Label Publishers, and co writes with Hit Writers.

Lee has also secured several other film tv placements with recordings made in his protools studio at home, some signed through Taxi. Lee has been making regular trips to Nashville and LA, for 10 years. Lee has 20 yrs FT music instruction experience, and 25 years of performances. Lee is Coordinator for N. CO NSAI. Lee toured nationally, released 2 CD’s with “Runaway Truck Ramp” 1998-2003. See “Rolling Stone” Sept 1999. Lee was signed to a non exclusive publishing deal with “Lyric House” in Denver CO in 2014-2015, with focus on film tv placements.  Lyric House has now closed its Denver office and moved to LA.

Lee’s songs have been pitched by several Nashville publishers including ole, Hori Pro, Zavitson and Green Hills Music. Partial list of co-writers include staff writers and artists Jeff Silbar, Brice Long, Bucky Jones, John Pardi, Andy Wills, Frank Maroney, Dan Demay, Dillon Charmichael, Nancy Faber and more.
